Beach conditions at Beach Palace Resort

What is the current condition of the beach at Beach Palace. We have always vacationed at Karisma resorts in Riviera Maya but are planning a girls getaway and want to try Cancun. Would one of the other Palace resorts in Cancun have a better beach?
